Sheree's Breast Cancer Fight
Donation protected
Sheree Chapman…… just the mention of her name makes me think of strength, courage, love, and nurturer. Sheree’s spirit shines so brightly and she has always been committed to improving the lives of everyone that crosses her path. She is my high school sweetheart, my friend, the mother of my children, a praying wife, and the keeper of my heart for 20 years. On September 25th 2015 we received heart-wrenching, unexpected news. The woman I love and the mother of our four children was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. She has 2 large tumors growing on her breast. Sheree is scheduled to begin chemotherapy on the October 7th, 2015 and after 4-6 months of treatment she will have double mastectomy and radiation. She will began reconstruction of her breast once the cancer is complete gone.
Along with chemotherapy, surgery and radiation come many financial responsibilities and household adjustments. We have four beautiful children three daughters ages 13, 11, 9 and a son age 7. We are reaching out to our family, friends, classmates, co-workers, and anyone else that finds in their hearts to help us with the costs that are associated with her many treatments, extended recovery, and the immediate expenditures that we are incurring to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for her at home. As my family and I struggle to cope with this new way of life, it is already causing financial strains as I focus on my wife’s health, and the well-being of our children. We pride ourselves on being self-sufficient, but at times such as these we find that we need others to stand with us during very difficult times.
Her faith and belief has kept our family strong and now I have to be strong and care for her and our children. As a family of faith, we believe that Sheree will be completely and totally healed. Not only does Sheree take care of us, she is a faithful church member, youth leader, class parent, and community volunteer. Sheree now needs your help. We believe that as a result of this experience God will use her as a mighty vessel to inspire and educate others that are facing similar diagnoses. I ask for your continual prayers as well as donations of whatever is laid upon your heart. I also ask that you share our story with others. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and pray that you are tremendously blessed.
