My name is James Heidrich. My friends and family know me as Jamie. I live in St Petersburg, FL, and we suffered a direct hit fron Hurricane Milton on 10/9/2024. The photo you see is just a part of the total damage to my home. In addition to the destruction of the carport, part of the exterior wall connected to the carport was ripped away; there is a leak in my roof; my window awnings were torn from their supporting anchors and the awning bent beyond repair; all of my skirting was damaged or blew away, and there is significant tree damage that will need to be trimmed and removed as it poses a threat to life and property. I am asking for assistance to meet my $3500 insurance deductible. I have already filed my claim, but I will be responsible for $3500 out of my own pocket, which I do not have. If my home is not repaired/mitigated, it will cause additional damage and, therefore, even more repairs and expense. I humbly ask for your help.
