Hi, my name is Kayla. I am currently living with my boyfriend and our fur babies in a home in SD. I am currently on leave from work (worker comp) because of multiple heart surgeries. I've had 5 heart surgeries in the last 2 1/2 years. The last one being the most risky of them all. My pacemaker leads were tangled into knots and not working properly. Causing me to not be able to breathe correctly and to constantly have zero energy, unable to do the most simplest of things. Workers comp stopped paying almost a year ago and disability is taking forever to go through. I have gone through almost everything I have to be able to pay rent and bills/ medical bills for the last year. My savings is gone and I have been trying to sell any collectibles I have to make ends meet. And my wonderful boyfriend has been working his ass off non stop so we can keep a roof over our heads and food in our belly. I have no idea what else to do and I am starting to feel hopeless. A friend of mine told me to put things in God's hands and that i should also create a gofundme. I'm not usually one to ask for help, but I don't know what else I can do. I'm sinking deeper and deeper. If you could please find it in your hearts to help, anything will help. Thank you for reading my story.
