My name is Mike Szatkowski.
13 years ago, my right foot was amputated below-the-knee. I weighed over 300 pounds. My Type II Diabetes was out of control. I was not watching what
I ate or drank.
Today, I am 240 pounds. In February of 2015, I had a heart attack. I stopped drinking alcohol completely. I rarely eat red meat. My walking is very tough because my prosthesis does not fit correctly.
I do work. I am the Music Director of my Catholic Church. Because of the weight loss, I need to purchase a new prosthetic. It will cost about $16,500.
I am barely making ends meet. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
