Support for Further Education

I’m currently volunteering at 'New Nepal Society Center' orphanage in Sirutar, Nepal, working on a painting project to brighten up the space and work together on something fun. During my time here, amongst many of the wonderful kids, I’ve met seven incredible young people who are now stepping into the next stage of their lives — continuing their education in Class 11 and 12.

These students have grown up in care, many for over a decade, and are now pursuing their dreams through further study. While the schools have generously provided a 90–100% discount on tuition fees, the remaining costs — including exams, admissions, lab fees and practical work experience — still add up to more than the orphanage can manage alone.

Some of these fees have already been partially paid, but there’s still a long way to go to ensure that all seven students can complete their education without interruption.

This fundraiser aims to help cover these remaining expenses and give each student a fair chance to pursue their goals.

Meet the Students

1. Bibek Tamata – Class 11, Management

A talented guitarist with a love for music, Bibek is studying management and dreams of starting his own business in the future.

Ashmita is studious and excels in public speaking. She’s studying science and hopes to be a nurse in the future.

3. Nilam Shrestha – Class 11, Management

Nilam has been in care for over 10 years and has no family support. He dreams of becoming a social worker in the future.

4. Saren Thapa – Class 11, Management

Saren is pursuing a future in hospitality. Both he and his sister have grown up in care, and while his sister has been sponsored to attend boarding school, Saren is working hard toward his own future.

Luv is in his second, and final, year of studying management with aspirations to join the army or become a business man. He’s responsible, committed, and ready to work towards his qualification.

Luv’s twin brother, Kushal, is focused on science and wants to become an IT engineer. He’s a disciplined and hardworking student. Both brothers have 2 years of fees to cover due to lack of funds to cover last year.
