Our hearts are breaking right now.

Our sweet boy, only 3 years old, has been part of our family for two years. He’s the quiet, gentle soul of our home — the cat who curls next to us when we’re sad, follows us from room to room, and trusts us completely. He’s never caused trouble, never complained, just loved us in his shy little way.

Until this afternoon… everything was normal.

Then he came home crying nonstop, unable to walk at all. He won’t eat, he won’t move, he just keeps crying in pain — and seeing him like this is unbearable. We rushed him to the vet, and hearing him cry the entire ride was one of the worst moments of our lives.

The vet told us his leg is broken, and even worse, they suspect internal bleeding in his abdomen. Hearing that felt like the ground disappeared beneath us.

We had no insurance for him — we never imagined something like this happening. The expenses hit us immediately:

• $265 just for the consultation

• $2,015 for the urgent tests he needs right away

• And treatment/surgery after that, which will be even more

We are not financially prepared for something this sudden or this serious. We’re reaching out to foundations for help, but that takes time — and he needs help now.

He’s scared, he’s in pain, and we’re trying everything we can to save him.
