SEMESTER AT SEA

My name is Dehlia Balsamo and I am raising  tuition money  for a  unique once in a lifetime learning opportunity. I've been accepted into a program at Colorado State University called Semester at Sea, which is used to educate select  students  and  give us a global understanding using the world as a classroom. My voyage would embark in January 2020  for spring semester of my Junior year and is called "Voyage of Discovery".  I will be on  ship  for 106 days, studying in 11 countries and 13 cities. This will integrate studies in multiple countries, implementing coursework while engaging in hands on experience in other cultures and  settings, giving  me a unique perspective of the world while applying my studies. This program is filled with engagement into other lifestyles, traditions, and learning experiences.  As a Social Work major and Criminal Justice minor at CSU,  I will be able to use the diverse experiences that I have with different cultures for my  future career  helping people. Today, a global perspective is more important then ever.  I will study in countries such as China, India,  Japan,  South Africa  and Ghana. Thank you for your generosity and  support in helping me reach my goal  We're almost there!  Let's make this "2020 Voyage of Discovery" happen!
