“Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.” John 11:3
On the evening of Tuesday, May 29 Brother Dwight started exhibiting signs of a stroke. Lear and Stephane took him to the hospital where upon evaluation the doctors diagnosed him as having had a mild stroke. By the grace of God he was able to get to the hospital before any further damage was done. Dwight’s speech and right side of his body have been impacted. As it stands now he is now making steps towards recovery but is very tired and is in need of rest. Intensive rehab is planned upon discharge.
Dwight and Stephane have personally ministered to many across the globe. They are now in need of our prayers and support. While some are able to minister by proximity, those that find themselves far away are encouraged uphold them in your prayers.
All funds raised here will be placed in a trust for the specific purpose to offset current and future healthcare costs as well as to cover living expenses while they are unable to continue their rigorous itinerant speaking schedule. Shaji Varghese (CM Board Member) will be appointed the trustee, on behalf of the Challenge Ministries Board of Directors - http://www.challenge-ministries.org/about-2/board-of-directors/) to disburse the funds accordingly.
The volume of individuals who have been personally touched by this couple are enormous as expected the number of caring calls, texts, and emails have become overwhelming.
Please refrain from reaching out directly. Lear will be posting regular updates in this Facebook group (https://m.facebook.com/?_rdr#~!/groups/813461268849808?ref=bookmarks)
Thank you for your generous support.
