After 3.5+ years of infertility, uncertainty, and medical procedures, we decided to take the step of faith and grow our family through adoption. Finding out we were unable to have biological children was a devastating blow, but adoption has always been on our hearts and is such a beautiful way to experience parenthood.

Infertility gave us an open window to pursue adoption, and although infertility has been devastating, we are grateful to open our arms to another sweet human.

Throughout our lives, we have been surrounded by friends who have been adopted, and more recently, we have found ourselves near those who have adopted. The success that we have seen in those lives gives us abounding hope for our adoption

journey.

If you have been through the adoption process, you know that there are many unexpected costs we are privileged to carry, knowing they would otherwise fall heavily on the biological mother. Zoe's House ensures that the biological mother is taken care of in all aspects before, during and after giving birth. The biological mother will have financial assistance to provide adequate living, nutrition, medical attention, and therapy. Zoe's House personalizes the care for each mother, so the costs of each situation differ. We know that the cost of an average adoption varies widely based on a biological mother's specific needs, averaging about $43,000, which is why we are hoping to raise $30,000.

We would love to include each of you in our adoption process and would feel honored by any type of involvement you may choose to contribute. We know that support is not always financial, and we would love any encouragement and prayer you feel led to contribute.

Ways to pray

1) For the biological momma. “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” I Corinthians 13: 6-8

2) For Joy. “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name may rejoice in you.” Psalm 5:11

3) For the health of the child. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139: 13-14

4) Wisdom. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5
