David has a uphill fight but an amazing will power and mindset that will kick the cancers butt. Any donations will go to David and his family to help with any the cost and would be greatly appreciated.
Here is Daveys story:
First off i want to thank everyone who has reached out and offered prayers and support while my family and I gear up to battle. It truly means more to us then you will ever know. We know the battle is going to be tough but we also know David killed Goliath with a pebble!!!
On July 23, just 19 short days after my 30th birthday my life was turned upside down. As my family and i set in the ER room waiting to find out what was going on that could cause me such pain in my gut. We heard those three words that nobody ever wants to hear, as the doctor said Mr. Goodsell you have cancer the air was sucked outta the room and our world screeched to a stop. As the night went on kept waiting to be woken up by this nightmare i was having but it never happened. Little did we know that over the next few weeks we we're going to be hanging out at the hospital every Tuesday Wednesday Thursday getting different test and surgeries done. We find out I've got stage 4 Gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma what the hell is that i asked the doctor?
Gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma is a rare type of cancer of the esophagus, the tube that connects your mouth and stomach. It starts in the gastroesophageal (GE) junction, the area where the esophagus and stomach join together. The cancer grows from cells that make mucus. No one knows exactly what causes GE junction adenocarcinoma.
All we are asking for is that everyone bends God's ears with prayers not only for me but also for my family and friends they didn't sign up for this!!!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
