Support Ruben's Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Ruben Barrientos and I'm 43 yrs old. I was born and raised in Houston's Northside. I graduated from John H. Reagan High School. I've been fortunate to work as an electrician and to provide for my family. I'm a proud husband and father of two beautiful little girls, ages 5 and 2.

Life seemed like it was coming along fine until we received some news on December 5, 2024, that turned everything upside down. After several test, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for my family and me.

Despite the challenges ahead, my family and I are committed to fighting this battle with everything we have. Unfortunately, the financial burden of medical treatments, doctor visits, and everything else that comes with this fight is overwhelming.

It's not easy for me to ask for help, but we're humbly reaching out to friends, family and even kind hearted-strangers to support us in this difficult journey. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated. From the bottoms of our hearts, thank you for your support, prayers, and generosity.
