Dwayne’s Brain Cancer Journey
Donation protected
After feeling off for a few months, then really unwell for a few weeks, my brother Dwayne’s life was turned upside down in May 2021 with the diagnosis of Glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer.
Following surgical removal, radiation therapy and ongoing chemo, Dwayne is deserving of some fun, which is why I’m calling on those of you that can make a contribution, to do so.
A keen outdoorsman, business owner, father of four, son, brother, friend and inspiration to many, Dwayne is hoping for an amazing fishing charter experience in the near future. He also had some extensive renovations underway before the diagnosis, so being able to put some money into paying for professionals to complete the work he had expected to do, would take a lot of pressure off the living situation and make life more comfortable at home…traversing stairs to get to the bathroom is not ideal after extensive brain surgery!
Dwayne is currently unable to work or drive, and there will be many appointments and trips to Dunedin in his future. Any contribution you’re able to give will go directly to help Dwayne and his family continue to face this beast with courage and hope. So let’s get him his dream fishing trip and hopefully alleviate some financial pressures so that Dwayne can concentrate on the things that matter most - healing and family. Thank you
