Our friend, Kevin Moore, was hospitalized on August 17, needing immediate multiple transfusions. He was given a diagnosis shortly after that of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Kevin was transferred from North Florida Regional Hospital to Shands at the University of Florida where he has undergone multiple tests to determine the parameters of his illness. He is receiving extensive chemo, including to the spine, and will soon face bone marrow transplant.
Kevin is a whirlwind presence. His energy and skills have helped many of us continue living on acreage that we love*. His skill and creativity allow him to solve any property maintenance problem in short order and with good humor.**
Kevin is generous and appreciative and a caring, always good-natured friend to the two- and four-legged animals in his circle. Our caring enough to create a GoFundMe page has touched him. Since Kevin is self-employed, he has no sick leave and thus no current income. In addition In addition, he had been out of work for several weeks just before his hospitalization due to spinal surgery. Please consider contributing to assist Kevin through this grueling physical and emotional journey.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING US HELP KEVIN
