HELP ALLAN BEUKE KICK CANCER IN THE BUTT!

 

My name is A.J. Beuke.  My brother Allan was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer on April 13th, 2022, during a routine physical.  Allan and his wife Cyndi’s world came crashing down on that day, as the shock of the diagnosis hit them. 

 

Currently Allan is in week 14 of 16 chemotherapy treatments.  This will be followed by 25 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation.  Surgery will then be necessary to remove the cancerous tumor, at which point a colostomy bag will be needed for 6 to 9 months.  After a healing period, another surgery will be performed in hopes of repairing his rectum.

 

Complicating the rectal cancer, he also suffers with debilitating osteoarthritis.  As a result of the severe pain of osteoarthritis in his spine, hands, knees, and hips, in combination with the painful side-effects of his cancer treatment, Allan has had to relinquish his job of 37 years.

 

Allan has applied for disability.  Unfortunately, this process could take more than a year to be approved.  In the meantime, Cyndi’s Social Security check is their only source of income.  In addition to the medical bills, co-pays, medications, and traveling costs for treatments, they still have their monthly expenses and the current high cost of day-to-day living.
