Help us hire a lawyer

Hello my name is Moriah, I’m looking for help hiring a lawyer to protect my family. Namely my 6 month old son.

Since arriving Wednesday morning (12/8/21) at Children’s Hospital with concern over stomach pain and him crying non stop (very unlike him) which turn out to be a gas bubble that took 13 hours to pass.

Originally things seemed normal, once they heard he was a home birth and no vaccines and one of 6 kids they instantly changed their tune.

They opened a SCAN (Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) investigation within 1 hour of being in the hospital.

My (as of today) six month old baby has had 19 X-rays, a CAT scan, two ultrasounds and Iv for 30 hours. I was flat out told no real explanation for any of these and “ there’s not that much radiation and this is a SCAN so you aren’t allowed to say no to any of these tests. It’s happening. “

They have Delayed care. ie. 5 hours for diaper rash ointment. They took photos of his privates to note the condition right before they gave the ointment. Which had obviously become worse during that five hour period of wait.

I was kept from feeding him in 3 different times that equaled 24 hours in a 48 hour period. They did not feed him at all during that time I wasn’t able to.

I kept asking for a breast pump. And was not given one until 330 on Friday afternoon. As such and due to stress, my supply has went down and I’m working tirelessly to rebuild it.

Due to not eating not sleeping and all that’s gone on my son has lost weight since being here.

They currently have a NG tube in. And are feeding him thru that.

I’m pumping anything I can to get as much breastmilk in there vs formula.

In a 40 hour period, He only slept seven hours and 40 minutes. They kept waking him up and due to not eating he was crying for hours on end. Which led to him being too hungry to sleep and too tired to nurse. He’s continually refusing a bottle.

We have been threatened and my babies health has declined due to their “care”.

I have contacted an Atty who has dealt with these hospital investigations before and says she can help. And stop further testing. She confirmed this is a witch hunt and informed me that this could end up with them filling for protective custody. And then could deny me visitation to my own child.

As every test that they have done has come back negative or looks great, as they tell me how the results were they instantly have another one they need to do.

They are looking for any reason to keep my baby. They asked me if I supplemental vitamin D. I said I do not, instead, I take 6000 IU of vitamin D every day so he gets it thru my breastmilk. Their own nutritionist agreed with me and said that’s correct that will happen. Three hours later they are running bloodwork to check his vitamin D levels.

For those that think you can just get up and walk out. I’ve been told they will not allow me to leave with my baby. Nor will I leave his side. Plus you need to be buzzed off the floor by the nurses station. There’s no just leaving. Please help us hire this lawyer so we can stop these unnecessary tests. And stop this “investigation” in its tracks!

And most importantly, get my baby and I home to the rest of our family! Where we belong!
