Meet Rufus, he is 9 year old gentle giant wolf hound terrier mix, he was surrenedered to Pet Save September 4th, 2015. For 8 years Rufus was tethered 24/7 in the northern climates sleeping in his own feces. Rufus never experienced living in a warm home. He developed a severe ear canal infection which now requires immediate ear canal ablation surgery which will cost approximately 2893$ in order to rid the infection and for him to be able to experience a life without discomfort, pain and constant ear irritation and especially to stop the infection from spreading to the brain. September 11, 2015 this gentle giant was adopted by a warm hearted lady name Seryca. Seryca and Rufus developed a bond like no other. Rufus completely trusts his owner and loves to follow her and cuddle with her. These two are inseparable; the truth is they saved each other.
The surgery cost is approximately 2,983$. We are asking for any donation. Your donation is much appreciated. Rufus’ life is just beginning!
His surgery is scheduled for March 8th, 2016 at the Pembroke Animal Hospial.
