Preserving a Child's Smile

I've been living in the Philippines for the last seventeen years and in that time I have accomplished my dream of becoming a dentist. I have been practicing over the last six years in some of the most impoverished provinces of the Ilocos region of the Philippines. This work is very important to me, as this is where my grandparents and ancestors come from, and I believe it’s critical to give back to the future generations, in honor of their legacies.

The magnitude of need of the most vulnerable children in these communities is unshakable. I am personally compelled and committed (beyond my regular practice) to providing as many children as possible with free, preventative dental care to preserve their beautiful smiles.
