My dad, Victor, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on 7/7 . He woke up one morning 3 months ago to severe lower back pain. He shrugged it off until he no longer could. He went to see several different doctors over the last 3 months who dismissed his pain and said he had a bulging disc, severe arthritis, a minor fracture…

Well he went in 6/29 to get a fracture filled and the Dr called my mom in the middle of the surgery and said his bones did not look “normal” and asked for her consent to take a biopsy. We soon found out on 7/7 my dad has Multiple Myeloma. He has several fractures all through his spine. His bones are deteriorating.

He started his first round of many chemotherapy treatments 7/8 and will be needing a bone marrow transplant in 3-4 months.

If you know Victor, you know he’s worked his whole life to support his family. Being diagnosed with cancer and having to go through physical therapy to learn to walk and use a walker is not at all what he expected.

As you could imagine, medical bills are quickly piling up and my dad being head of household, this is hitting hard.

Bills do not stop.

Sadly This is just the beginning…

Please pray for my Dad as he fights cancer and pray his spirits always stay positive!

Please pray for my mom who is trying to process everything that’s going on, while maintaining her Full time job, and having to care for my dad (schedule chemotherapy treatments to fit her work schedule etc)
