My name is Heather and I started this fundraiser for a dear friend from college—Rachel Lackey, who lost her sweet husband, Jaysen, to COVID today. She is also in the hospital fighting COVID. Their children, Elisha and Abi, are at home waiting for them to come home and now they have lost their father.

A wife lost her husband today. Two children lost their father. A brother lost his brother. A father lost his son. A mother in law and father in law lost their son in law. The world lost a great man.
