Marathon for Mike

Hello friends!  My girlfriend's father, Michael Joseph Marchello, has neuroendocrine cancer.  I am running my first marathon because 1. I am using it as a platform to fundraise money for Mike's treatment and 2. my body doesn't like running just like Mike's body doesn't like cancer (so I run in solidarity).  These funds will help Mike get treatment both in the hospital and with alternative medicine.   Some of the alternative methods cost a lot more so as much as you can give will directly help increase his longevity.  Mike has done 6 rounds of oral chemo already but let's send him good energy and that good old fashioned dollar to beat this cancer entirely.   I know that for the 3 grueling hours in the Oakland Marathon on Sunday March 22 I will be sending him nothing but love and healing.  Help me help him!  And if you want to watch me run, you know where to find me--at the finish line about 11:30am that Sunday...in one month!
