If you know me, I am never one to ask for help. This time I am swallowing my pride. This is my desperate cry for help, this is my last resort. I really never thought I would need to “downgrade” myself by setting up a gofundme account but here I am. I am a single mother raising two kids full time and struggling to find a job that best accomodates our needs. I am currently going through an ugly divorce battle that has left with me with nothing, financially AND deep in debt, since February 2024 and I am barely making ends meet. I have been almost evicted twice and I am about to be evicted again right before the holidays. All my emergency benefits have been cut off too. I am constantly searching and applying for a new job with no luck. The only thing I’m worried about right now is being able to provide a roof, clothes, and food for my children until I’m able to get that financial stability.
