As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with cancer about 2 years ago. This has been a tough battle that is continuing to get harder. We've created a GoFundMe to help cover the costs of travel and accommodation for treatment in Chicago and medical bills.

For a quick backstory, my mom is the toughest person I know who has been battling her cancer diagnosis through various clinical trials for about 2 years. Recently, a new FDA-approved treatment was announced and has given us all a lot of hope. Her treatment plan for this includes staying in Chicago for at least 2 weeks at a time to receive the new TIL therapy. Currently, my mom is in Chicago for the second time trying to fight through this treatment. Unfortunately, this round has caused a tumor in her brain to begin bleeding, leading to emergency surgery to remove it and reduce swelling. At this time, my mom is intubated and in the ICU with hopes to be extubated soon.

UPDATE: my mom is recovering MUCH better than expected and hoping to move out of the ICU tomorrow 10/9! We appreciate all of the support from everyone. She still has a long road of recovery and treatment ahead of her but she is very determined and everyone’s support is very motivating. Thank you again.

You are all amazing!! Thank you so much for your support. My mom is feeling much better and got the AOK to continue with treatment. She just finished her chemo course this weekend and is scheduled to start the TIL therapy this afternoon. We appreciate the continued prayers!
