Our family is going through one of the hardest times of our lives. Our dad, Charlie, has recently been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer, and the cancer has spread to his bones. This diagnosis came as a shock to our entire family and has changed our lives quickly.

Charlie is a retired senior scriber for an aerospace company and spent many years working hard and dedicating his life to his career and providing for his family. He has always been someone others could count on, and now he is facing the hardest fight of his life.

He is beginning treatments that include medications, injections, and ongoing medical care in hopes of slowing the cancer and giving him more time with the people he loves most. Charlie is a proud father, grandfather, and even a great-grandfather. His family including grandchildren and great-granddaughter adore him, and they are one of the biggest reasons he is staying strong through this difficult time.

though-out my brothers adult life, my brother has lived with our dad and has been there every day helping care for him and supporting him through this journey. Our family is doing everything we can to stand beside him and make sure he has the care, strength, and encouragement he needs during this time.

As we focus on helping him through treatment, the financial burden of medical care, doctor visits, scans, medications, and everyday expenses is quickly adding up. We want him to be able to focus on his health and time with his family without the added stress of financial worries.
