Aurora Mae Clark was born to Lane and Isabelle Clark on June 22, 2025, at just 27 weeks due to unexpected complications. She weighed only 1 lb. 3 oz. at birth and is now growing strong at 4 lbs. 10 oz.

Aurora has faced tremendous medical challenges, including underdeveloped lungs (BPD), a hole in her heart (PDA), multiple septic infections, and other serious complications. She will soon need heart surgery and is expected to remain in Texas Children’s Hospital for several more months.

While Aurora is showing incredible strength, the financial burden on her family has become overwhelming. Medical bills have already exceeded $5.7 million. While insurance covers much of this, the family must still meet a $10,000 yearly deductible (due again in January 2026), along with the ongoing costs of daily travel to and from the hospital. Isabelle has had to step away from her job to be with Aurora full-time, making these financial burdens even heavier.
