Help Jessy & Zoe Save Their Dog Diesel ❤️

This past Friday, November 7th, my brother Jessy and his wife Zoe welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world — their first child. What should have been one of the happiest times of their lives has also become one of the hardest.

Just days before Zoe went into labor, their beloved dog Diesel was rushed to Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Ottawa. Since then, Jessy has been going back and forth between home, the hospital where Zoe and the baby are, and the vet clinic where Diesel is fighting for his life.

Diesel is a 5-year-old Rottweiler — the sweetest, most gentle soul you could ever meet. He’s Jessy’s first baby and his best friend. Out of nowhere, Diesel became severely anemic, with his blood count dropping to just 12%. Despite multiple blood transfusions and every treatment option available, the cause remains unclear, and his condition is still critical.

Jessy has refused to give up on Diesel and has said “yes” to every recommendation the vets have made to try to save him. Unfortunately, the vet bills have now reached $20,000 and continue to rise.

Anyone who knows Jessy knows he would never ask for help himself — so we’re asking on his behalf.
