Lindsay's College Tuition Fund

My name is Lindsay Kashino, I plan on attending wingate university as a frist generation college student in my family. I have been planning on going for a while and was excited when I got accepted. My excitement was cut short when I realized I won't be able to afford it even with my scholarship and grant I'll still be paying for my first year over $23,000 plus what text books cost. I still have to pay that for 4 more years as well. 
My parents aren't able to financially support me. My mom is disabled and hasn't been able to work for 15 years because she contracted lyme disease.  The doctors over treated her by years and she ended up with more health problems. My dad works two jobs to try and just barely has enough to pay the bills. I just recently got a job but do not nearly have enough to buy my first semester text books as I help out my family financially. I am doing this go fund me in hopes I might just raise the money to be able to afford to go. I want to be able to graduate as first in my family and make my parents proud.
My goal upon going to college is to study in medicine and work in the field. I want to prevent things like what happened to my mom in over treatment in medicine. I appreciate and am thankful for anyones support!
