The Vehicles for Veterans Car show was a BasketCase Events(Sherie Brooks) a business organizing and conducting the show. The show was produced by Nor Cal Euro Society and FFC. The show was hosted to raise money for DV Farm. Both clubs helped with the show in the belief that money would go to the DV farm. Clubs were not in charge of money in any way, Basket case Events was soley in charge of the money.
Unfortunately, We recieved the news that the money was never turned over to DV Farm and Basketcase Events was solely responsible for submitting the funds raised of money's raised to said charities and was sadly spent by the party. The funds that were from the show was in amount of $4100 that was raised but not donated to the DV Farm
We the assisting clubs are working directly with Mike Rivers from DV Farm and we are in complete contact with him through all updates with this and future events.
All fund will be going straight to DV Farm that benefits the DV Farm which is operated by vets for vets, the DV Farm will provide practical rehab for homeless veterans.
We know many of you already paid, donated or participated in the Vehicles for Veterans show, and asking you to donate means we are asking you to double dip/REpay what you have already paid..but it is the only way, to try and get the promised funds to DV Farm, and let the authorities handle getting the stolen money back
For more updates on the event, and how it will be re-branded follow the page as it takes a new course with a new name to continue raising money for Veterans
We are also working on reaching out to all participating parties, Sponsors, Donars , Attendees and volunteers
There we many vendors, volunteers, donations, attendee's and more that came to the show. We the clubs are appalled by this and are working with DV Farms personally to hold another event in their name (Several events as many place all over the US have been reached regarding this) As more information comes out about show they will be release. This page will be re-branded with a new name where all shows will go to help Veterans.
