Send the Atheys to RUF Assessment!
Hello Friends,
As many of you know, I’ve been plugging away in seminary down here in Charlotte, NC and it appears I will be able to graduate in May 2017. Part of what that means is that Molly and I are beginning to think and pray about our next steps into ministry moving forward.
We’re excited to tell you that this summer we are planning on attending Reformed University Fellowship’s assessment in Atlanta, GA, July 11th-14th! Assessment will be a four-day interview process to assess gifting, personality, and preaching ability among other things. It is a relational process that in essence will try to answer the questions: Who are you? Where would you fit if you were hired? And is God even calling you to RUF? This assessment is incredibly important because it is the first steps in becoming a Campus Minister for RUF.
If you’re not familiar with RUF, it is a college campus ministry that seeks to love students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serve the university by helping students navigate how the Gospel informs all areas of life. During my time at Virginia Tech, the Lord used RUF in a big way to draw me deeper to Himself through the power of His Word and a community of believers.
To attend this assessment, Molly and I need to raise $1, 500 by May 13th to cover the cost of the hotel, food, travel and administration fees. Would you consider joining us?
