DUX: Metanoia -- A new album by Mark Nowakowski

My name is Mark Nowakowski, and I'm a composer of new classical music. I'm raising money to fund the release of my second professional full length album, METANOIA, to be released through DUX Record Producers, with international streaming through the NAXOS service. The album is entirely finished and submitted to the label, DUX: all that remains now is covering the release fees.

The money from this fundraiser will be entirely used to cover the costs related to releasing the album. Funds above the goal will be used for marketing and promotion. I'm confident that this fundraiser will not only help me complete the final release stage of this project, but will also allow you as a patron to join the international cast of musicians and patrons who are making this album possible!

Donor Incentives:

All donors will receive a personal hand-written note from the composer upon the release of the album.

*The top 25 donors will be listed in the album liner notes!

*All donors of 50 dollars or more will receive the aforementioned along with their own copy of Metanoia (while supplies last).

*All donors of 125 dollars or more will receive the aforementioned, along with a signed copy of my 2016 NAXOS release, Blood, Forgotten (while supplies last).

*All donors of 200 dollars or more will receive both albums signed, as well as a batch of my wife's secret chocolate chip power cookies! (while supplies last).

*Donors of 500 dollars or more will be listed separately as "Assistant Executive Producer." They will also receive both signed albums.

*Donors of 1000 dollars or more will be listed as "Associate Executive Producer", and will receive a one minute musical commission for the solo instrument of their

choice, dedicated to the recipient of their choice. They will discuss this commission on a Zoom call with the composer.

*A donor who covers the entirety of the project will receive the afformentioned, and will also be listed as "Main Assistant Producer". In addition, they will be able to work with the composer on a custom dedication for the album.

Now some background: In 2016 I released my first international album, "Blood, Forgotten" through NAXOS, and got some great reviews. Ever since then I've been working on a follow-up release. The album "Metanoia" represents seven years of work, and I'm proud to release it with DUX Record Producers in Poland, with international streaming through the Naxos service. It contains works for piano trio, chamber vocal ensembles, choir, cello octet, period instruments, and even an electroacoustic piece for cello duo. What brings this large variety of musical forms - and their equally diverse international cast of performers - together is the theme of intense personal journey, the quest for the sacred, and desired transcendence that I have woven into each work. It's my hope that this album will become one of your favorites, and bring something new and truly valuable into your life.
