Update 12/21/2023

Update on Brooke. “I have a sinus fracture with nerve damage and a broken nose and still have pretty bad concussion. The nerve damage in my head causes tingling situation like when u got low circulation and I most likely never. Repair from that is what I was told. I have. Lower back pain and nerve damage there. David broken leg is healing and they might have to put a rod in his leg and he still has nerve damage and fighting the infection. We both had MRI again today and will know more next week. Logan has swelling around his spine and lose tissues in his eye and we know more next week with him.”

David has been admitted to the hospital with a severe leg infection on his broken leg which has nerve damage. They are cutting out the infection but may have to amputate from the knee down. This really puts the family in a hard place as he runs his own plumbing business and will take much longer to heal from.

I am starting this fundraiser to help the Duwe family. Both David, Brooke and 2 of their children were in a horrible car accident November 11, 2023.

They were by the side of the highway helping another motor vehicle when theirs was hit, totaling the only vehicle they have. 2 of their 3 kids were in the car and are fine, but both David and Brooke were hit by the flipping vehicle. David has a broken fibula along with other injuries that will need surgery, and Brooke suffered a facial skull fracture and will need surgery. They will both be out of work for a few months trying to heal from their injuries along with taking care of their children and the bills will keep coming. Please find it in your hearts to help them while they heal and try to put their lives back together.
