Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and a hopeful spirit to share Dutch’s story and ask for your support. Dutch is our beloved 3 year old pup who, just last Thursday, was diagnosed with cancer. His journey to recovery began yesterday (Monday) when he underwent surgery to remove a mast cell tumor from his thigh at Forest Glen Animal Hospital. The surgery was a success thanks to their incredible team, but the road ahead is still uncertain.

Dutch has been an irreplaceable part of our lives. He's a gentle soul who adores children and other dogs alike. Over the past two years, Dutch has helped us foster over a dozen dogs, offering them a loving home and companionship. His kindness and resilience have touched so many lives, and now it’s our turn to give him the support he needs.

So far, we’re looking for help to cover the costs of blood work and the initial tumor removal, but Dutch’s journey to beat cancer might be far from over. We are awaiting the results of a biopsy that will determine the next steps in his treatment. If the biopsy shows a high-grade tumor, Dutch may need additional treatments, which could include chemotherapy and further medical care.

The costs of these treatments are substantial, and we are seeking to raise funds to cover Dutch’s ongoing medical expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in giving Dutch the best chance of survival and a chance to continue spreading his love and joy.
