Support Dusty's Riders 2017 Outings

Dusty's Riders needs your help! For the first time in 15 years, we are in danger of ending our program due to low funding. Please consider helping in any way you can.
For those new to our program, Dusty's Riders is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization powered entirely by volunteers that inspires at-risk youth to find the self-confidence needed to overcome challenges in their lives. By providing positive interactions with horses in a natural setting, we encourage them to develop a sense of self-worth, work as a team, discover how to master their own fears and experience joy with their peers. We take groups of kids aged 7-17 to meet our two wonderful horses, Dusty and Luke, at the ranch where we board in Shadow Hills, CA. The kids travel outside of their comfort zone literally and figuratively, in many cases meeting horses for the first time. They learn to groom, lead, and feed a horse before traveling to the famous Griffith Park for an hour long trail ride in the hills, followed by a pizza lunch.
These outings are in danger of ending soon if we do not acquire some much needed funds. The campaign goal is to raise enough money for one year of program costs. Details can be seen below.
Our ultimate dream is to buy our own ranch in the hills above Los Angeles where we can have many more kids come learn to love horses and stay off the streets, so please continue to support us even after the campaign has ended!
