On September 2, Dusty was involved in a roll over accident only 2 miles away from home. The truck in front of him was pulling a trailor with no lights, Dusty slammed on the brakes, lost control, and flipped several times. It took an hour to get him cut out of the vehicle and he was then life flighted to Corpus Memorial. That night, he went into emergency surgery (the first of many) for the open fracture to his left ankle. He not only endured the open fracture to his ankle but fractured ribs, internal bleeding which he received countless units of blood, fractured left hip, fractured left knee. His 11th surgery required an amputation of the left leg below the knee.
Today (11/8/16) is the 67th day in the hospital.
Unfortunately, with all the medical attention Dusty is in need of, the expenses are far greater than what we can endure at this time. The rehabilitation road that he must endure is a long one. We know that God will be with him every step of the way. We continue to give thanks that his life was spared and that he is surrounded by his family and friends that are praying for him 24/7. We ask that you consider making a donation on his behalf to help defer the medical expenses thus far. Thanking all of you in advance for your generosity.
Help spread the word and share this!!!
