Dusti Gray, a beloved member of our community is currently in the ICU at UCSD trauma center, fighting to recover from a traumatic assault by a homeless person.

Dusti has been in a drug-induced coma since the incident, facing significant challenges in his journey to healing. Despite the hurdles, there have been glimpses of hope – moments when he responds to stimulation and breathes on his own. However, the road ahead is long, and medical costs are accumulating rapidly.

The neurologist has shared that Dusti's brain injury is moderate to severe, and the support he requires is extensive. As he battles to regain control over his faculties, the medical team is working tirelessly to provide the best care possible. Dusti's partner Kayt and roommates Anne, and Eric have been a pillar of support, but we, as a community, can join hands to alleviate the financial burden that comes with such a challenging situation.
