Dustin’s Medical and Recovery

Hi My name is Kendra, I am a friend of Dustin Johnson’s and one of his Fiancé’s best friends. Here is Dustin’s Story:

13 May 2023 we went to visit Dustin’s mom and sister for Mothers Day. We were driving home north on 89 and after Red Lake and before the forest he ended up putting the bike down. He was wearing a full face helmet.

I had an overwhelming sensation to turn around, and found him in the ditch. He stated he was fine, and this random family of angels helped us bring the bike up the steep ditch.

*Side note: this bike was my dads, and he passed away and this is something we keep in his memory.

He jumped back on until he hit a gravel pit, and ended up parking the bike in the woods.

*side note: his brother in law and brother and nephew got the bike home and put into our garage

Dustin had me take him to Sanford in Thief River Falls as he believed he busted a rib and his collarbone. As luck would have it he ruptured his spleen and had to be airlifted to grand forks.

While in grand forks he has a respiratory incident which resulted in a pulmonary embolism. They are currently working on getting the embolism smaller so it can break up on its own with the medicine heparin.

He is on a vent, and his stats remain stable and with all your love and prayers he will survive this.

A go fund me will be set up, as Dustin will need extensive rehab and there might be a few medical bills need to be covered.
