After 7 months of initially falling chronically ill with undiagnosed illness, he stabilized 90%.
After a recent gallbladder surgery, all of the original symptoms have reemerged + amplified in nature.
Debilitating spinal nerve pain, neuromuscular issues causing muscle clamping, rigidity, spastic attacks and convulsions.
It appears it could be a form of multiple sclerosis. It's also possibly a type of myelitis due to infiltration from bacteria. Last year he had a bad tooth reprovisioned and repaired, but has only got worse. It is clear now it's causing substantial inflammation to the entire right of his face, from sinus, ear, jaw and throat.
This tooth is slightly loose and when interacted with aggravates all the neuro symptoms. We have a biological dentist appointment on Wednesday for evaluation and extraction. This is very terrifying due to the potential for open extraction site and infection.
Pending the tooth extraction success we are booked on the 18th to fly to Minnesota to pursue the Mayo Clinic. This is a last ditch effort to stabilize and diagnose Dustin properly, as the existing medical care in California has worsened and neglected him.
We have been unable to work since December and have been fortunate to have covid stimulus timing, however we have had to spend most of that on blood labs and other diagnostic to determine issued.
We discovered our house had incredibly high black mold levels in October and through a process of remediation and rebuilding, it hasn't helped. Recently we've been staying in hotels which is not financially stable and we are about out of money. This is our motivation to streamline access to Mayo clinic as we can no longer inhabit our property.
Thank you for any help, it will be the difference in our whole family getting by, not just Dustin.
