Dustin Schlong - We Are Family!

Dustin Schlong is a positive, uplifting, creative, and amazing human in our community! He has worked his ass off to create safe places, and build relationships with individuals all over the state! There is not a moment that goes by he does not put is ALL into everything and constantly gives the most back to others! He makes people laugh, smile, feel welcome, and recently and unfortunately has gone through some traumatic health issues. These medical complications sadly will inhibit him from working the next few months. 

Any and all finances would greatly benefit him and his partner as they are getting by!

We need to start having the ability to help out community and have funds available for these unfortunate events!


This year has been so hard for so many people. Since January, I've had countless conversations with people going through the hardest times...from partners of performers being hospitalized, people loosing their jobs, hate crimes, medical emergencies, life and daily struggles, and so much of that all goes silent. There is so much love and pride that our communities aren't vocalizing a lot of what is going on and trying to get by.


The idea of this show is to have accessible funds available for community members in traumatic and unfortunate emergencies, as well as to have a designated show space that we could raise money with or without reason to build this fund.


'We Are Family' is going to be a twice a month community fundraiser where we can raise money for those going through hard times, unexpected traumas, emergencies, and/or life altering events. If there is no one in need of the funds at the time, the event will still happen and funds will go into an account where individuals have the ability to apply to have a specific show for them and/or apply to receive grant money at any point throughout the year!
