As some of you are aware Dustin has suddenly found himself in one of the biggest battles of his life after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome. GBS is a serious condition in which Dustin’s immune system has attacked his nerves causing paralysis. At this stage the recovery time is unknown. After the first signs and symptoms, the condition tends to progressively worsen for about two weeks. Symptoms reach a plateau within four weeks. Recovery begins, usually lasting six to 12 months.
At this time we are working through the process of income protection and hardship for Dustin and his family. We'd all love to be able to do everything we can to ensure Dustin keeps up to date with his health insurance and other financial obligations. We want Dustin to be able to focus solely on improving his physical health and mental well-being, rather than getting stressed out worrying about bills.
Any monetary contribution that you can make would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate please keep him in thoughts and prayers during his road to recovery.
As a family we thank you all for your love, support and understanding though this time of hardship.

Guillain-Barre syndrome is a serious condition in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves and requires immediate hospitalization because it can worsen rapidly. The sooner appropriate treatment is started the better chance of a good outcome.
GBS often begins with tingling and weakness starting in your feet and legs and spreading to your upper body and arms. In about half of people with the disorder, symptoms begin in the arms or face. As GBS progresses, muscle weakness can evolve into full body paralysis.
GBS can affect all age groups. But you're at slightly greater risk if you're a man or you're a young adult.
There's no cure for Guillain-Barre syndromeGBS. But two types of treatments can speed recovery and reduce the severity of the illness.
Thank you everyone for your love and support.
