Dustin Morton's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Saturday night, May 22, my brother Dustin was in a serious UTV (side by side) accident that required him to be airlifted to Charlotte, NC. He suffered a broken collar bone, several rib fractures, a collapsed lung, broken sternum, a laceration on his bottom lip that required sutures, and a severe spinal cord injury that has left him unable to feel his legs. He endured a lengthy back surgery on Monday, May 24th that went well, but has yet to regain feeling below his belly button. He will be facing another surgery on Wednesday, May 26th to repair significant damage to his chest area. Dustin is a fighter with a positive attitude and we are all optimistic, but we know there is a long road of recovery ahead that will require him to be out of work for a some time. Dustin is a hard core truck driver who'll be celebrating his 30th birthday in a few months. He has a wife and two children who absolutely adore him and depend heavily on him. He is such a loving person who would willingly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He is quick to donate to charity or pay a bill for someone who is struggling or help fund a youth's way to summer camp; he's just a kind, generous soul. Help us provide some relief for this awesome guy and his family on his road to recovery. With no medical insurance, there's a mound of bills that will be rolling in. Unable to work, household bills will also start piling up. Your donations will be a tremendous blessing, and even a little goes such a long way. We would like to ask that whether you give a donation or not, that you leave words of encouragement for Dustin and his family, and please pray fervently for him.
