Dustin Hall in a terrible car crash, needs our support!

Hi everyone. Those of us at the Shabbat Spot are asking for help for Dustin and Tabi Hall.

On Monday, Dustin was working on making deliveries in his car when a distracted driver drifted fully over into his lane of traffic.

In a last ditch effort to avoid a collision, Dustin swerved hard into the other lane of traffic. The distracted driver suddenly realized that he was in the wrong lane and he also swerved into the lane that Dustin was now in, causing a terrible head on collision favoring the passenger side of Dustin's car.

Dustin's car is totaled and worst than that, he suffered a transverse fracture, severing his femur (thigh bone) in two. His two year daughter was also in the car with him at the time and Praise Yah, she only suffered a busted lip.

His leg twisted sideways and in immense pain, he was helpless and unable to move.

Tabi was home with their brand new baby born born less than one month ago. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene to try to assist. Tabi was able to arrive on scene and ensure that their daughter was safe and wrap her in her arms to keep her calm while the EMT's worked on how to get Dustin out of the car without furthering his injuries.

His injury was so severe that they transported him to an open field where he was transferred to a waiting helicopter. They care-flighted him to the U of L Hospital in Louisville.

Dustin's personality is generally upbeat and he always tries to make the best of every situation he is in. This has been tough for him though. The worst pain he has ever experience in his life. Still, he is trying to remain upbeat for his wife and two little children.

At the hospital, they had to do a surgery which involved drilling a hole in both pieces of the bone and inserting a metal rod in them. Then they screwed screws into the sides to hold everything in place. After the surgery, his thigh has swollen to nearly twice it's normal size.

As you can imagine, this entire ordeal has been painful and now a financial stress is making itself known. Dustin and Tabi are a young couple just starting out in life and as delivery drivers, they were able to support their roughly $2,500 dollar a month cost of living.

With the loss of his ability to work, and with he loss of his car that he had used for work they face an immediate crisis. They have not made enough money to save back for even one month of reserves.

We are a small assembly and we intend to assist as much as possible but this is a huge burden that we are asking everyone to help us overcome.

It appears that his recovering time for this will take up to six months or more.

Now, just before Feast of Sukkot, we know that satan tries to attack God's people. Help us fight back with brotherly love in support of this lovely family! Together, we are strong!

Naturally, we ask for your prayers as well but remember what the book of James tells us, do not just send your blessings but give of the natural as you can.

Faith Without Works Is Dead
Jas 2:14  What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:15  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:18  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
