Dust Buddy (Short Film)

Hi, I’m Henry, and I’m an MFA Candidate at Northwestern’s Writing for the Screen and Stage program. Thank you for considering a donation to the production fund for my brand new short film, Dust Buddy. Our goal is to raise $6,000 by August 20th in order to pay our cast, crew, location, and insurance costs.

Dust Buddy is a funny, melancholy, tough, and tender film about a farmer struggling with debt who finds an unlikely friend in her robotic vacuum cleaner. The film tackles themes of American mythology, the decline of small farms, and the way we ask technology to absolve our loneliness.

I’m very excited to be partnered with my co-producer Abby Brooke, another MFA candidate in my program. We plan to send this film out to top short film festivals in the Fall.
