My sister Duska was diagnosed last

August with MDS cancer. This is a blood cancer that starts in the bone marrow and can cause infections due to low platelet counts. She went in to have kidney stones removed, and when the stints were put in, it caused the infection to spread, and it just kept getting worse and started to shut down her liver, then the kidneys, and also affected her heart. She developed septic shock. She passed away on April 13th. 
In place of flowers, the family is asking if you would like to make a financial donation to go towards expenses. Her husband, Joey, is on disability, and their son, Max, is 12. They just lost their 23-year-old daughter Destiny last October.
