Dusk Short Film Crowdfunding
Donation protected
Dusk is an LGBTQI+ independent fantasy short film, based in Perth WA, being created by talented emerging filmmakers who need your help to raise the necessary funds to make this project be a success. Apurva Gupta, the writer and director of Dusk, aims to tell a story where characters from the community can experience a love story, free of homophobia (including internalised) and life shattering twists and turns that heteronormative couples on screen don't experience. She wishes to normalise love stories of all kinds, having characters overcome their insecurities in order to establish a flourishing relationship.
Dusk celebrates love, diversity and friendship.
Synopsis
Celeste is a 400-year-old vampire who lives with her best and only friends Ophelia & Morris. After years of living life without romance, she develops an unlikely bond with a human through their shared love of books. As their relationship develops, insecurities take over, leading the couple to have to work through the issues or give up on each other.
