Durham Family Support

As many of you know, we lost a dear friend and neighbor, Whitney Durham, on Sunday, 8/29. To know Whitney was to love her - she was funny, smart, kind-hearted and the center of Pierce & Japeth's world.

Whitney, Japeth and Pierce relocated to McDaniel in 2019 and were the very first home to move into the Estates. Whitney loved our community and its neighbors. She could often be found hanging outside watching the kids play or relaxing by the pool. She was a pillar in our larger College Grove community, serving as PTO President at College Grove Elementary School. Her loss has left a gaping hole in the hearts of so many.

There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family and friends. In true Whitney spirit, many of you have reached out asking how you can assist the Durham family during their time of sadness. With Japeth's permission, we have set up a Go Fund Me account to help support the upcoming needs they may have. Thank you in advance for any donation you are willing to make. Please trust, all funds will go directly to the Durham family, either be used to cover medical costs, upcoming bills and/or put aside as a trust for Pierce's college education.
