"Duo Mong "The Essence" - debut CD of Tatar classic
We are Duo Mong, a Tatar chamber ensemble based in the Netherlands. Being Tatars and living far from our homeland, we decided to share a part of our national musical culture with the rest of the world. And, we recorded our debut CD, "The Essence".
To introduce our album and share the beautiful music of Tatar composers, we are planning a concert tour to the countries with the biggest Tatar diasporas. Our first destination is Germany, particularly Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich. But this is only the beginning, as we plan to bring Tatar music to all continents!
