Dear Readers, 



My name is Dunhoja. I'm 12 years old and I'm the fourth child out of six. I have 4 brothers.  Two older brothers and two younger brothers.  I had an older sister who passed away in 2013 at the young age of 21. I didn't grow up with all my brothers and sister.  I did not live with my parents because it was an unstable environment at one time. Since then I have created an amazing bond with my mother and she is my greatest supporter. I have been living with my grandparents since I was 10 months old. My grandmother is not in the workforce.  She has been the stay home mother that I needed in my life throughout  my hardships. My grandfathers have been my father figures and great support, but they are getting old. One of my grandfathers will be leaving the workforce soon due to getting older and health issues.  This year will be my senior year of middle school and there is a senior class trip that I really want to be a part of.  The trip is very expensive and my family can't afford the cost of the trip. I'm hoping that you could help by donating any amount to help to pay.  Also please share with anyone that may be willing to help so I can go on the trip. I will be learning American history in the 8th grade and this trip will help me to see and gain life experience in Washington D.C. This is an opportunity for me travel and see things that no one in my family has been able to see. I am the voice of the future!
