Dundee medical school students and staff are coming together for a charity “dook” in Broughty Ferry on the 22nd of October to raise money for Penumbra, one of Scotland’s leading mental health charities. We’ve chosen Penumbra because they support Hope Point in Dundee — a vital crisis centre that offers safe, compassionate, and immediate help for people experiencing mental health distress. By taking the plunge, we hope to raise awareness and vital funds to help Penumbra continue their life-changing work in Dundee across Scotland.
More information about Penumbra: We are Penumbra Mental Health, a pioneering charity providing dedicated services for people with mild to serious and enduring mental ill health.
We support people on their journey to better mental health, by working with each person to find their own way forward. The power of people's lived experience enables us to provide pioneering services which transform lives.
