Dundee United FC Academy 1983km Challenge

In respect of the late Dundee United legend Jim McLean who sadly passed away recently. Jim was an integral part of the club’s history by providing success and inspiration with largely homegrown young players in winning the league in 1983 and playing in finals of European competitions.
To honour Jim’s passing and to help raise funds in awareness for Alzheimer Scotland, Dundee United Football Club Academy is looking for each age group team to complete a walk, run or cycle challenge to reach the distance of 1983km collectively over a four-week period starting on the 1st February – 28th February.
We will be making the challenge competitive within each age group of Our Academy, by completing the challenge distance of 1983km as a team in the quickest time possible within the four week period time frame.
All donations from the Go Fund Page will be going straight to the Alzheimer Scotland charity to continue to build our clubs partnership with the charity. So please promote awareness and share this page on social media platforms such as twitter, Facebook etc.
