Dear Sponsor,
Distinguished Concerts International (DCINY) is proud to announce that the Duncanville Community Chorus sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, Duncanville has been invited to perform as part of the DCINY Concert Series. The ensemble has been selected to perform as part of a major concert featuring Handel’s Messiah under the baton of DCINY Artistic Director Dr. Jonathan Griffith at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City. This invitation is due to the exceedingly high quality of the group and the exceptional direction of Nyadia Thorpe.
It is an honor just to be invited to perform in New York City and this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the singers in the Duncanville Community Chorus. A limited number of auditioned ensembles have been selected to be a part of this concert.
Members of the community are encouraged to give financial support in sending these singers to New York. I would like to ask for a contribution to help make this exciting opportunity a reality for the Duncanville Community Chorus sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, Duncanville. By contributing to this exciting project, you are enabling these talented people to perform in one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.
