Duncann’s Breast Cancer Journey

One of my best friends was recently diagnosed with Metaplastic Breast Cancer. This is a very rare form of breast cancer, accounting for less than 1% of all breast cancers. She is only 29 years old. She is also the mother of a one year old boy. 
Initially, her cancer was misdiagnosed and it took over a month to see a specialist who was able to diagnose this rare breast cancer. This particular cancer does not respond well to chemotherapy, therefore she will undergo a double mastectomy next week.
To make matters worse, Duncann was involved in a car accident this past weekend that totaled her only vehicle. With the growing amount of doctors appointments and medical demands, it’s going to be difficult for her to get around. Not to mention the financial burden this will be. Although she has medical insurance, the copays and deductibles have been piling up. She will need to be off work for at least 6 weeks. All of which will be unpaid medical leave. 
Duncann is only asking for prayers during this time so I am asking you to consider helping in any way you can with the financial aspect. All money raised will go directly towards Duncann’s medical bills, transportation, and helping make up for her lost wages. Thank you and God bless.
